"Legal Assistant" (Praven Pomoshtnik) is an innovative, AI-based legal information platform designed to transform the legal profession by making it more effective, precise, and intuitive. The system offers a rich set of automated legal tools that free practicing lawyers from routine tasks, allowing them to focus on strategic thinking and creative case resolution.

Purpose

"Legal Assistant" has been developed with a clear understanding of the specific needs and challenges facing Bulgarian legal professionals. Its primary goal is to fully or partially automate a range of legal activities, offering near-ready-to-use legal documents and analyses. The product is intended for a wide range of professionals in the legal field:

  • Judges, Lawyers, and Legal Advisors – receive quick access to quality document drafts and expert assistance for complex cases.
  • Notaries and Private Bailiffs – benefit from automated data extraction, which facilitates the preparation of acts and contracts.
  • Corporate Legal Departments and Entrepreneurs – utilize ready-made templates for legal documents and the ability to quickly analyze data necessary for their business.

Core Functionalities

"Legal Assistant" is structured around easy-to-use "Automated Legal Tools", each presented as a standalone form that guides the user to input the necessary data to obtain the desired result. These tools are grouped into several categories to ensure intuitive and quick access to all functions.

1. Drafting of Legal Document Projects

This function offers professional suggestions for the text of legal documents, serving as a source of inspiration and expert assistance. The system generates drafts of:

  • Statements of Claim and Appeals – drafting of statements of claim and appeal complaints in civil law disputes, complaints against administrative acts and penal decrees, including complaints to the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) under the Public Procurement Act, and others.
  • Answers to Statements of Claim and Appeals – providing adequate legal defense for the defendant in response to a claim or appeal.
  • Private Prosecutions – drafting private prosecutions to the Regional Court and Regional Prosecutor's Office.
  • Declarations – automated completion of declarations under various normative acts (Commercial Law, Registering Legal Entities Act, Tax and Social Insurance Procedure Code, Notaries and Notarial Activity Act, Measures Against Money Laundering Act).
  • Contracts – generation of contracts for the purchase and sale of motor vehicles and others.
  • Motions/Petitions – for the initiation of enforcement cases, for immediate protection under the Protection Against Domestic Violence Act, and others.
  • Corporate Documents – automatic generation of documents for the registration of Single-Member Ltd., Ltd., and Sole Proprietorships.

Every draft is crafted with precision, based on extensive legal knowledge and real-life cases, ensuring a high degree of practical applicability.

2. Automated Processing, Analysis, and Data Extraction from Legal Documents

This functionality is designed to save invaluable time by automating the analysis, selection, and extraction of key data from various legal documents. The system can:

  • Extract Identification Data – for properties from cadastral sketches and schemes, for parties to legal transactions, for the subject of contracts, and others.
  • Analyze Data on Encumbrances – from remote access inquiries issued by the Registry Agency, including analysis of ownership, recorded statements of claim, and encumbrances on properties for individuals or legal entities.
  • Process Corporate Data – extracting company data from the Commercial Register.
  • Analyze Legal Documents – providing critical analysis of statements of claim, answers to statements of claim, and expert opinions prepared within the framework of court proceedings.
  • Simulate Processes – simulation of the interrogation of a defendant in a courtroom, or the interrogation of a witness or victim by an investigating police officer, thereby helping to build defense strategies.

The extracted data can be easily copied and used in other documents, eliminating the need for manual entry and minimizing the risk of errors.
