The beta version of the SMEDATA mobile app “GDPR in Your Pocket” was released on 26 September 2019. The application can be freely downloaded from the app stores of Google (for Android devices) and Apple (for iOS devices) by using the following links:

The purpose of the mobile app is to introduce the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to citizens and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand way, and to give them practical knowledge and advice on their rights, respectively obligations under the EU data protection law. The user interface and large parts of the content are available in English, Italian and Bulgarian.
The application provides access to a variety of legal information resources in the field of privacy and personal data protection - legislation, case law, guidelines of the Commision for Personal Data Protection and the European Data Protection Board and other legal documents that are relevant to the data protection.
The Advisory module provides practical guidance on GDPR rules to citizens and SMEs. The Decision support tools – help representatives of SMEs to find evidence-based solutions of key issues related to data protection.
